How to Take this Course
Course Overview:
This course is intended to provide nurses and other health care professionals
with information about multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic disabling neurological
disease. Although there is as yet no cure for MS, the recent development and
use of disease modifying drugs has brought new hope for people with MS. Nurses
play a vital role in helping patients and families learn how to manage MS symptoms,
and how to achieve an acceptable quality of life despite neurological impairments.
Please see Learner outcomes for a specific list of the course
goals.
