Larvae
- Hydrocolloid pad (Duoderm, etc.) of sufficient size to provide a protective
barrier around the wound
- Mesh, such as Creature Comforts [Dacron chiffon cut to size from the University
of California Maggot Laboratory], Tegapore [3M], or white nylon stocking
- Transparent semi-permeable membrane [film] dressing
- Gauze pads and +/- gauze wrap of appropriate sizes
- Suture removal set
- Normal saline
- Silk or cloth tape
- Glue, such as Skin Bond [Smith & Nephew] or contact cement
- Skin protectant

Miscellaneous
- Consent form
- Personal protection equipment (PPE) includes clean gloves for handling of maggots
and wound dressings and mask, eye protection, and gown when performing treatment
where there may be exposure to blood/body fluids.
