Target Audience

This course is intended for nurses and other healthcare professionals in all health care settings who are seeking information about HIV/AIDS. The experience of the State of Florida is used to illustrate risk factors, prevention programs and treatment of HIV/AIDS.

• Nurses and other health professionals may earn 3 contact hours for completing this course.
  
  • To earn 3 contact hours, participants must agree to spend no less than 180 minutes studying course material, exploring Internet links, and completing the exam and evaluation.

• This course also meets the Florida continuing nursing education requirement.
