About the Author

Susan Herzberger, RN, MSN is a nurse educator holding a master's degree in medical-surgical nursing. Her clinical experience with teenagers has taken place in rehabilitation, burn-unit, venereal disease clinic and emergency room settings. She has also taught young people in an associate degree nursing program and has managed a university campus health service.
