Common Toxicities for Selected Agents
The following are examples of toxicities associated with certain cytotoxic drugs.
- GI toxicity: ceritinib
- Neutropenia: paclitaxel, palbociclib
- Hypersensitivity reactions: L-asparginase, paclitaxel, bleomycin
- Pulmonary toxicity: bleomycin
- Renal toxicity and ototoxicity: cisplatin
- Hemorrhagic cystitis: cyclophosphamide and ifosfamide
- Cardiotoxicity: daunorubicin, doxorubicin, mitoxantrone
- Photosensitivity, stomatitis, nausea and vomiting: 5-Fluorouracil
- Neurotoxicity: vincristine, vinblastine, ifosfamide
- Thrombocytopenia: ruxolitinib
- Hepatotoxicity: idelalisib
