Common Toxicities for Selected Agents

The following are examples of toxicities associated with certain cytotoxic drugs.

• GI toxicity: ceritinib
• Neutropenia: paclitaxel, palbociclib
• Hypersensitivity reactions: L-asparginase, paclitaxel, bleomycin
• Pulmonary toxicity: bleomycin
• Renal toxicity and ototoxicity: cisplatin
• Hemorrhagic cystitis: cyclophosphamide and ifosfamide
• Cardiotoxicity: daunorubicin, doxorubicin, mitoxantrone
• Photosensitivity, stomatitis, nausea and vomiting: 5-Fluorouracil
• Neurotoxicity: vincristine, vinblastine, ifosfamide
• Thrombocytopenia:  ruxolitinib
• Hepatotoxicity: idelalisib
