Upon completion of this course, the learner should be able to:
1. Describe the epidemiology, incidence, and prevalence of MS.
2. Identify the etiology and pathophysiology of MS.
3. State 4 disease classifications for MS.
4. Assess for the 10 symptoms commonly experienced by persons with MS.
5. Explain to patients the diagnostic tests used to establish a diagnosis of MS.
6. Teach patients and family factors associated with more favorable and less favorable prognoses in MS.
